Terms of Service

These terms apply to transportation arranged through Black Tie Concierge. By booking with us you accept them.

Bookings and quotes

A quote is an offer for the trip as described to us. It becomes a confirmed booking when we confirm it to you in writing. If the trip changes materially — a different destination, extra stops, significantly more passengers or luggage — the rate may change, and we will tell you before it does.

Rates

We quote flat rates agreed in advance. We do not apply surge pricing. Tolls and parking are passed through at cost and itemized. Gratuity is at your discretion unless stated otherwise in your quote.

Waiting time

We allow a reasonable grace period at pickup. For airport arrivals we track your flight and time the pickup to the actual landing, so a delayed flight does not count against you. Waiting beyond the grace period may be charged; we will tell you the terms when you book.

Cancellations and changes

Tell us as early as you can. Cancellation terms depend on the type of trip and the notice given, and are set out in your booking confirmation. Canceling a chauffeur who is already en route will normally incur a charge.

Delays outside our control

We plan for traffic, weather and road closures, and we build buffers into airport runs for exactly that reason. We cannot however guarantee arrival times against events outside our control, including severe weather, accidents, road closures and acts of authority.

Your conduct in the vehicle

Seat belts must be worn. Smoking and vaping are not permitted in any vehicle. Alcohol may not be consumed in the vehicle except where lawful and agreed in advance. Damage or soiling caused by passengers may be charged at the cost of cleaning or repair. Our chauffeurs may end a trip if anyone's behavior is unsafe or unlawful.

Child passengers

New Jersey and New York law require appropriate child restraints. Tell us the ages of any children when you book so the correct seats are fitted.

Luggage and property

Capacity limits published on this site are guidance; please tell us if you are carrying anything unusual. We are not liable for property left in a vehicle, though we will always make reasonable efforts to return it.

Licensing and insurance

Transportation is provided by commercially licensed and insured chauffeurs. Black Tie Concierge arranges and coordinates these services.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, our liability in connection with a booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
