That is fine for a trip across town. It is a poor way to reach a 6 a.m. flight, to collect a client from an airport, or to be somewhere at a fixed hour in an unfamiliar car with a driver who has never done the run.
We work the other way around. Your trip is assigned to a specific chauffeur in advance — someone we screened ourselves for background, driving record, experience and references. You know the vehicle and the driver before the car arrives. The rate is agreed up front and does not move because it started raining.
We also pay our drivers a larger share of the fare than the apps do, which is precisely why the good ones stay, and why the same faces keep showing up for our regular clients.

Before you book
How do you vet your chauffeurs?
Every driver is screened individually before they carry a client — background check, full driving record, verified commercial experience, and references we actually call. We do not accept drivers on volume; we accept the ones we would put our own family behind.
Which areas and airports do you cover?
All of Bergen County and the wider NY/NJ metro area, including Manhattan and the outer boroughs. For airports that means Newark Liberty (EWR), LaGuardia (LGA), JFK and Teterboro (TEB); Westchester (HPN) and Philadelphia (PHL) are available on request.
Long-distance runs outside the region — the Hamptons, Philadelphia, Boston, the Poconos — can usually be arranged with notice. Ask.
How does your pricing compare to Uber or Lyft?
Competitive, and far more predictable. We quote a flat rate before the trip and it does not change because of weather, rush hour or a stadium letting out. There are no booking fees or service fees layered on at the end.
A rideshare may occasionally beat us on a quiet afternoon. It will not beat us at 5 a.m. on a rainy Monday, which is generally when the ride actually matters.
Do you track flights?
Yes. Give us the flight number and we monitor it. If you land early we are already there; if you sit on the tarmac for an hour, your pickup moves with you rather than expiring.
Do you offer hourly or as-directed service?
We do — by the hour, the evening or the day, with the car and chauffeur staying with you throughout. It is the usual arrangement for multi-stop evenings, roadshows and events. Contact us for hourly rates.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can — a day or two is usually enough to hold the vehicle class you want, and standing weekly runs can be set up once and left alone. That said, dispatch is staffed around the clock and same-day requests are often possible. If the trip is today, call rather than email.
